AGU 2008 - San Francisco Fall Conference, Dec 15-19

GISTAR group participated to the AGU Fall conference in San Francisco (December 15-19). The session GIS Terrain Analysis for hydrogeomorphic applications, convened by Dr. Fernando Nardi (Tuscia University) and Prof. Erkan Instanbullouglu (University of Nebraska-Lincoln) hosted 16 contributions. GISTAR at the 1° Open Day in Perugia July 9th 2012

Open Day GIS and hydraulic modelling for hydrogeologic risk"

On july 9th, 2012 the GISTAR team members organized and actively participated to the 1° Open Day "GIS and hydraulic modelling for hydrogeologic risk". Prof. Grimaldi's lecture in the morning session illustrated the latest researches regarding the potential of GISTAR tools for urban/land planning and flood mapping. Prof. Petroselli and Prof. Nardi co-organized the afternoon session meeting students and young professionals interested in learning the G* terrain analysis tools that were freely distributed during the event.
